In Taiwan society, while you looking for a job, the interviewer would check your diploma at first. If you get higher TOEIC grade that must be helped to find any work that you want. In present, English is a general language of world. Because of these reasons, so you need to study hard. If you don’t have enough competition, you will losing the job that you want to achieve. According to the reasons of above, being a student should experience more and more pressure repressing you.
Parent expectation is another pressure to affect being a student. The self expectation that is include : success in work; professional ability; family. Parent spend a lot of money let you being educational, cause they want to see you success in work. If you have professional ability, you will get a lot of pay. Parent expectation on account of present society become violent contest gradually. Including that they don’t want to the money for education been wasted. Parent expect their sons and daughters have good capability, that is the reason of parent expectation that would increase pressure of being a student.
Social expectation is the third important thing being the pressure of the student. In the recent year, the business trade has become globalize. In order to global interact trade very frequently so I need to have national competitive. Another is between friend. In Taiwan society, which everyone comparing anything that include: salary; vehicle; residence things like that. That must grow in number or quantity of pressure.
According to these expectation, be a student must get different pressures. In oder to achieve successful future for you, you must need study harder to resolve these problem. In the light of: self expectation; parent expectation; social expectation which would rapid stress on a student. That is a big pressure being a student on these three expectation in my sense. If you were not have these pressure, you must are not a study hard student, and you can not be a success person in Taiwan society
